Katie & Keith | Grand Rapids Wedding Engagement

Katie and Keith are getting married at East Congregational Church here in Grand Rapids this May. We hoped for a snowy day early in January for their engagement photography, but were not rewarded by Mother Nature. Nonetheless, we had a gorgeous sunny day. It was a bit chilly but we braved it. I really adore these two and am excited to photograph their wedding!

Corey & Eddie | Camp Blodgett Wedding

Corey and Eddie were married at Camp Blodgett in West Olive, Michigan. We had an absolute gorgeous day for their lakeshore wedding. I love the details and colors they chose for their wedding. Everything worked so well with the “lodge” setting of Camp Blodgett. I am so fortunate to have been part of their special day!

Sarina & Benny | JW Marriott Wedding in Grand Rapids

Sarina and Benny were married in Grand Rapids in October. They also had a very busy weekend. You see, Sarina’s sister was married the very next day at the Amway Grand Plaza! We started our day at the JW Marriott before heading off to Meijer Gardens for the first look and photos. The ceremony was at Grand Rapid’s Eastern Avenue Christian Reformed Church. We then returned to the JW Marriott for the beautiful reception. Coordinating and details were meticulously done by RSVP Events. It was an absolute gorgeous fall day and I am glad to have been a part of it! Special thanks to David Chandler who was my second camera for the day.

Kaylee & Travis | Lake House Wedding in Muskegon

Kaylee and Travis were married in Muskegon in August. The ceremony was at the Heritage Memorial Garden in downtown Muskegon and the reception was at The Lake House. We started the day with getting ready photos at the Shoreline Inn before heading off to the garden ceremony. Post ceremony, we hit some fun locations downtown and along the lake shore for pictures. The Lake House reception was an incredible end to the gorgeous day. The dance floor and photobooth were rocking until at least midnight! I had an awesome time photographing Kaylee and Travis’s wedding and was happy to have Holly Gauper shooting with me. Enjoy!

Kim & Phillip | Grand Traverse Yacht Club Wedding in Traverse City

Kim and Phillip’s gorgeous Northern Michigan wedding took place in Traverse City. Their ceremony was held in Grand Traverse Bay on board the schooner Madeline. The beautiful day on the ship was capped off by the super fun and laid back reception at the Grand Traverse Yacht Club. The awesome details were by Flowers by Marla Courtney Wood. Kim steered away from tradition; serving a selection of barbequed meats and traditional summer sides. No cake, rather loads of pies, cupcakes and other treats. Lastly, no DJ. Levi Britton’s band entertained all night. It was so refreshing to hear fantastic live music at a reception. It seemed more like a concert than a reception! Kim and Phillip were kind enough to invite my wife as a guest. If it wasn’t for shooting another wedding the next morning, we would have stayed till the end. These two were nothing short of awesome to work with and made the day the most relaxing and fun wedding I may have ever shot. Seriously.
